THE GREEN WE LOVE

We go on vacation to regenerate. We can find balance without stressing the environment

ONLY RENEWABLE ENERGY

We love walking through Elba’s woods and listening to the ancestral sounds of nature.

That’s why we’ve eliminated gas use at our property, opting for electricity generated exclusively from renewable, eco-friendly sources. This powers our LED lighting, high-efficiency appliances, and heat pumps.

A PLASTIC-FREE HOTEL

We love lying on sunlit beaches, letting the sea breeze gently embrace us.

That’s why we minimize single-use plastics by using dispensers and refillable containers (made of recycled/recyclable PET) for soaps and detergents, all of which are highly biodegradable. Our goal is to eliminate them entirely—and we’re almost there. With glass water bottles available for guests to refill at the dispenser in the reception, we’re close to reaching this milestone.

RESPONSIBLE INTERIOR DESIGN

We love reaching the island’s most scenic viewpoints and gazing at the vibrant greens and deep blues.

This is why we have furnished our villas with furniture predominantly designed in wood and metal, prioritizing recycled materials whenever possible. We have chosen exclusively natural fibers for our bed and bath linens. With the same care, we prioritize suppliers and partner companies that share our vision and can ensure the same commitment to sustainability in their production processes.

TOTAL SUSTAINABILITY BY 2027

We love diving into crystal-clear waters and exploring their life-rich depths.

For this reason, we combat waste through small yet meaningful actions, such as weekly linen changes. Plus, we have a state-of-the-art solar panel system in the pipeline. By producing our own energy, we’ll complete the first phase of our “fully sustainable hotel project” by 2027. We’re also planning a rainwater collection system for landscape irrigation. And speaking of waste, our internal and external communication is 99% paperless, relying primarily on digital tools.

IN HARMONY WITH THE ENVIRONMENT

We love blending seamlessly with the beauty around us.

That’s why we have designed practical and functional outdoor spaces. Like our “Raw Gym”, an artisanal gym built with natural materials to integrate with the environment and return to it, without impact, when the time comes to replace it.

A PARADISE TO PROTECT

We love committing to preserving this beautiful island.

Ensuring it remains so forever. In our own small way, we contribute by being a sustainable hotel and promoting the culture of sustainable travel.

SMALL
SIMPLE GESTURE
But from everyone

Here are some that contribute to protecting this corner of paradise:

Use only the necessary amount of water for personal hygiene, not a drop more. Just take short showers and turn off the taps when soaping up.

Use reusable water bottles and fabric shopping bags, thus reducing single-use plastic waste.

Use soaps and detergents sparingly. Even if the ones provided are ecological, we want to minimize the impact related to production, transport, and disposal.

Turn off the lights when leaving a room and the air conditioning when we are out. When the breeze blows, we turn off the air conditioning and open the windows wide.

Use the washing machine and dishwasher only when fully loaded. These appliances consume a fixed amount of water and energy with each cycle. Starting them only when full maximizes the use of these resources, reducing overall consumption.

Move on foot and by bicycle or use public transport, possibly electric, whenever possible.

Correctly separate waste. By facilitating their recovery and reuse, we reduce the need to extract new natural resources.

Support the local community by purchasing local products and encouraging participation in activities that support the local economy, such as guided tours of the island’s historical, cultural, and natural sites.

We keep insects like ants and mosquitoes at bay without using chemicals. Instead, we prefer solutions that don’t pollute the environment or harm other harmless species, preserving the ecological balance of this beautiful place.
